Mac Relay
A lightweight helper for your Mac that bridges audio to your Apple TV's speakers. Only needed for TV-speaker routing — set it up once.
Download Relay · v1.2The Mac Relay is Apple Silicon-only and unsigned. Instructions: on first launch you must go to your Mac settings, Privacy & Security, Scroll down to Security, find where it says "AirAudio Relay" was blocked to protect your Mac and press "Open Anyway".
Up and running in a minute.
Installing from Google Play
- Tap Get it on Google Play above to open the store listing for either app.
- Install it like any other app.
- Open it and grant local-network access so it can find your AirPlay devices.
- Pick your speakers (AirAudio) or a display (AirVids) — that's it.
Installing on Windows
- Click Download for Windows above and open AirAudio-Setup-1.0.9.exe.
- If Windows shows "Windows protected your PC", click More info, then Run anyway.
- Accept the license and finish setup, then open AirAudio from the Start menu.
- Pick your speakers and press Stream — your PC's own speakers mute while it streams.
Setting up the Mac Relay (optional)
- Download and open the Relay installer on a Mac on the same Wi-Fi.
- Drag it to Applications and launch it — it runs quietly in the menu bar.
- In AirAudio, select your Apple TV; the relay forwards the audio to the TV's speakers automatically.
